CBMA President discusses interim relief in arbitration proceedings

In a recent interview with the Jota portal, our President, Gustavo Schmidt, provided an overview of the examination of interim relief in the context of arbitration proceedings.

In addition to discussing updates to the Arbitration Law (Law 9,307/1996) and highlighting the relationship between arbitration and the judicial system, Schmidt explains how the adoption of emergency arbitrators can complement this process.

"It's a model designed precisely to address the problem of choosing arbitration but ending up in the courts. The emergency arbitrator allows you to have an extrajudicial solution all the time, even if an urgent situation arises."
